Jin Fuzai
Famous composer, Professor of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the ex-dean in Musical Theater Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, vice-chairman in Chinese Musical Seminar, committee member in the Ministry of Culture of High-Quality Goods Project Review Committee and Cultural Development Fund Committee.
He has innumerable music works in musical theater, cartoon, movie, TV play, Chinese Opera, drama and dance drama.





Anne Harley
Famous soprano, the vice-professor in Scripps College in America, obtained the doctorate in Historical Performance at Boston University. She is a specialist in Baroque music and an avid proponent of contemporary and experimental works, specializing in music theatre and contemporary music and has premiered, performed and recorded works by Evan Ziporyn, John Adams, Lee Hoiby, Louis Andriessen, Peter Eotv?s and John Harbison, among others. She has performed in North America, Europe and Asia and has appeared as soloist with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (Angels in America), Opera Boston (Nixon in China), American Repertory Theatre (Oedipus), Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Camerata, Banff Centre for the Arts and at the Tanglewood Festival.
She is extremely interested in interdisciplinary projects that incorporate new media and movement in the service of music and drama. The Village Voice described her performance in Borrowed Light at BAM's Next Wave with the Finnish Tero Saarinen Dance Company and the Boston Camerata as transmitting a “heart-wrenching purity.” In 2009-10, she performed the role of Margaret Mead in the world and US premières of Ziporyn’s opera A House in Bali in Bali, San Francisco, Boston and New York. Her solo performances are available on H?nssler Profil, Naxos, Sony Classics, Canteloupe, Musica Omnia and BMOP/sound, among others. Her project, “Voices of the Pearl,” commissions and records new song cycles that set texts by and about women mystics from traditions around the world.

Executive director——Tao
Tao Graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music with a Master’s Degree and majored in Vocal in the Musical Theater Department. She studied preschool education in her earlier years and holds two Bachelor's Degrees respectively from the Wuhan Conservatory of Music in Music Education and from the Shanghai International Studies University in English later. She has been a music teacher for 16 years and has been teaching and designing musical theater, chorus and dance for a wide range of schools and organizations. She designed and directed one well-known international school's 5 year anniversary show in Shanghai Grand Theater and 10 year anniversary show in Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Many of her students and programs won awards in Shanghai. She also has taken students to America and Europe in 2004, 2008 and 2011 for competitions, in which the students have all won gold prizes. In 2008, Tao was appointed by the Shanghai Education Committee to have an open music class for the First Lady of the State of Georgia, America and received good comments. This year (2012), one of her students - Anna was awarded the first place prize in "Singing for the Expo - a talent competition for Chinese teenagers and children" and Tao won the title of "the excellent teacher". In 2012, she went to America for children’s musical theater research.

Board member——Li
Li Graduated from the Shanghai Normal University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology Education. She worked in one famous international school as science and biology teacher, class teacher and leader of subjects during 1998~2008. When she worked in JZ School, she assumed the operations manager position.
In 2004, she was awarded "Gardener Award" of Pudong New District Shanghai. She won Outstanding Young Pioneers Instructor of Pudong New District in 2004 and 2005, and Outstanding Class Teacher of Pudong New District in 2006.





Teaching Faculty

Andriza
Andriza, Brazilian, dancer and dance teacher, graduated from the Catholic University in Brazil, with a major in dance and pedagogy education. She has more than 10years of work experience in the dance art, with a special dedication as dance teacher for children on children’s along the career. She has been working in China since 2006 and was the dancer in the international dance company and performed shows in tour throughout China. Recently she has given dance lessons of ballet, dance mix, salsa, Brazilian dance and couple classes in schools, clubs and gyms.





Alicia Valdivia
professional dancer and teacher. started early in classical ballet at 6 years old in national ballet school of Habana Cuba. At the age of 15 started different dance courses and succeeded in all fields of dance, such as contemporary dance, Salsa, international dances, Jazz and Hip-pop... took part in many national competitions and working in China since 2006 as a professional dancer and teacher in different events, dance studios such as soul dancing and jazz du funk and so on.





Andriza Freitas
Graduation: Pedagogy – Education (PUC – Brazil) Post – Graduation: Dance (PUC – Brazil), is a highly qualified dance instructor. More than 15 years of work experience in the dance art, special dedication as dance teacher for children alone the career. Working in China since 2006 as a dancer and teacher for kids and adults of Ballet, Dance Mix, Salsa and Brazilian Dance,Sumba… in schools, clubs and gyms.






Yvette
Australian Nationality, Musical Teacher, Actor, Well known local musical show translator, Yvette graduated from Melbourne R.M.I.T University、and Shanghai Conservatory of Music; Majoring in Musical Theatre. She has played leading roles in many musicals; she has also performed at many musical pre promotional shows that toured China. Abundant experiences in bilingual children’s concerts、Hosting children shows、producing and directing.






Xia Zhenkai
Musical theater actor and teacher, graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music with a bachelor’s degree. Now he is furthering his studies in Shanghai Conservatory of Music pursuing a MFA, majoring in Vocal in the Musical Theater Department. He was the leader actors in many different musicals and taught in a famous international school and Shanghai Little Star Art Group.







Zhang Xiaomin
Mezzo-soprano, holds MFA degree in musical theater from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and a bachelor’s degree in vocal from the China Conservatory of Music, famous musical theater actress and the leader actress in the China Opera Dance Drama Center. She was the leader actress in many musicals, operas and won the Splendor Award for acting, the highest award from the Chinese government for professional stage performing arts. She taught Children Music Play Group in the China Conservatory of Music for three years and one of her students was accepted by Sichuan Conservatory of Music.




Zhang Jia
Director and acting teacher, graduated from the Shanghai Theater Academy, holds a bachelor’s degree in acting and master’s degree in directing. She is the teacher in the Shanghai Film Art Academy and directed and acted in many dramas and musical theaters.








Deng Jia
Female, 31, Master of Education in Dance. She has been learning dancing since her childhood. In 1996 she was admitted to Wuhan Conservatory of Music in Hubei province, majoring in dance. After graduation in 2000, she worked for the College of Art of China Three Gorges University in Hubei Province as a dance teacher. In 2003, she was admitted to the Shanghai Normal University to pursue a master’s degree of education in dance. Since 2006, she was employed by Shanghai International Studies University as a supervisor for The College Students Art Troupe.
For the past ten years, she has been training both professional and non professional students. During these years she insisted on exploring various dance teaching methods for different age groups and has accumulated a wealth of experience in dance teaching, especially experience in teaching students in different age groups. She once worked for the Shanghai Little Star art school as a part-time dance teacher, mainly teaching pupils from 4 to 6 years old who were in kindergartens or grade 1-3 in primary schools. The teaching content included children dance basic training, jazz dancing, Chinese dance tiered exam, etc.
In the second session of the national university student art show held in October 2009, the solo dance “grassland paradise" choreographed by her gained the first prize of Shanghai, and melodrama "RENT" guided by her ranked second in the same show. In 2010, she choreographed original campus musical “song in my heart".
